Triton Kennels offers a few select quality litters each year. We feel this gives us the time needed to devote to each and every litter. Every breeding we do has been carefully researched and planned to ensure the highest quality of puppies. Quality puppies start with quality breedings. We strongly believe females are the backbone of any breeding program and have taken great care and time selecting each one of ours. All of our breeding females have been carefully chosen for their strong working abilities, excellent temperament, strong nerves, and proven bloodlines. The same care and time goes into the selecion of stud dogs . We have some of the top european workinglines in our breeding program that consistently produce exceptional progeny. We are active with our dogs in schutzhund and competitive obedience. Not only do we enjoy the time and effort that goes into training and working our dogs & developing that bond; this also allows us to best evaluate the dogs temperament, drives, work ethic & biddability for future breeding choices. All of our dogs have either their German "A" stamp( an internationally recognized hip certification program) or OFA certification on their hips. Our dogs also have multiple generations of ancestors with normal hip certifications in their pedigrees. We also attempt to closely follow Germany's strict breeding guidelines by having conformation ratings, working titles, and breed surveys whenever possible on our dogs. We feel this best demonstrates that all of our dogs meet the breed standard for structure, temperament and working ability. All of our puppies are whelped, raised and socialized in our home with our family-not in a kennel. Puppies are exposed to all household noises, variety of surfaces, interaction with children and other animals. We also use the Bio Sensor Program while raising our litters. Each puppy is AKC registered, comes with a comprehensive written health and hip/elbow guarantee along with a detailed puppy packet & lifetime breeder support. All of our litters have been on a consistent worming schedule, recieved their first immunization, vet checked, & temperament tested prior to being placed. Triton Kennels strives for excellence in working GSD's and beloved family members. Our puppies are bred for schutzhund, competitive obedience, tracking, agility, SAR, law enforcement, therapy & assistance work, herding, and outstanding family companions. We carefully screen all potential homes to ensure the best possible match between owner and puppy. Our goal is to place every puppy in a lifetime home where they will be a devoted & cherished partner. References from our clients with Triton dogs are available upon request. To reserve a puppy from one of our litters, a deposit is required, shipping is also available. Harley is a very promising female from our breeding out of our retired female-Walda Arolser Holz SchH1, KKL-2 and V Unkas zum Jurgenshof SchH3, IP3, RH1, KKL-1. We hope Harley follows in the footsteps of her mother as an excellent producer for our program. Harley is a very nice working female with high prey drives, natural suspicion, coupled with high biddability in obedience & a very nice temperament. Her grips are very full, calm and she is always clear. Her structure, type and movement are excellent-a very good example of correct working structure. She's a great family dog also, good with our children with a nice off switch-what a GSD should be. We are currently working towards titles in schutzhund and competitive obedience with her; and are researching suitable males for her in fall of 2008.
